Senior Engineering Manager - Custody

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +4 more locations.

📋 Description

• Lead, recruit, and nurture a team of senior engineers

• Own and manage the technical strategy and roadmap for the team

• Oversee the design and progression of cash and securities ledgers, security master services, position tracking, and reconciliation systems

• Collaborate with product teams, investment operations, and compliance to address business and regulatory requirements

• Establish operational controls and auditable workflows that balance accuracy, scalability, and maintainability

• Work together with Product and Partnerships on integrations and technical roadmaps

• Set benchmarks for accuracy, reliability, and incident response

• Maintain a balance between implementing new capabilities and the upkeep and enhancement of critical systems

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience managing highly technical teams

• Direct experience in building or operating RIA and broker-dealer custody systems at scale

• Familiarity with ledgers, security master services, cash and securities reconciliation, and money movement

• Understanding of the broker-dealer operating model and the data flow among introducing brokers, clearing firms, and custodians

• Experience in translating compliance and operational requirements into actionable engineering decisions and effective controls

• Knowledge of the securities lifecycle, settlement, and corporate actions across equities, fixed income, ETFs, and mutual funds
