Senior Engineering Manager – Credit Cards

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +4 more locations.

📋 Description

• Lead, recruit, and nurture a team of senior engineers.

• Offer constructive feedback and foster a trusting and supportive atmosphere.

• Take ownership of the team’s technical strategy and roadmap.

• Convert Mercury’s investment goals into prioritized tasks and reliable delivery.

• Steer the design and development of cash and securities ledgers, security master services, position tracking, and reconciliation systems.

• Collaborate with product, investment operations, and compliance to transform business and regulatory needs into systems, operational controls, and auditable workflows.

• Work alongside Product and Partnerships on integrations, responsibilities, and technical roadmaps.

• Establish standards for accuracy, reliability, and incident management.

• Balance the introduction of new capabilities with the maintenance and enhancement of critical systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in managing highly technical teams.

• Hands-on experience in building or operating RIA and broker-dealer custody systems at scale.

• Familiarity with ledgers, security master services, cash and securities reconciliation, and money movement.

• Knowledge of the broker-dealer operating model and the data flow among introducing brokers, clearing firms, and custodians.

• Experience working closely with compliance and operations teams.

• Understanding of the securities lifecycle, settlement processes, and corporate actions.

• Knowledge of customer cash and positions across equities, fixed income, ETFs, and mutual funds.
