This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Define the direction for Storage, Stream, and Frontend, encompassing product priorities, justifications, and criteria for business success.
• Lead and expand teams within Storage, Stream, and Frontend, overseeing both product and engineering functions.
• Mentor and nurture engineering leads, fostering increased ownership throughout the organization.
• Steer teams through architectural decisions and technical compromises.
• Uphold high engineering standards concerning reliability, scalability, security, and operational performance.
• Develop planning and delivery methodologies that enable rapid and sustainable execution.
• Collaborate with Growth, Support, senior leadership, and engineering teams to convert customer needs into actionable priorities.
• Provide clarity amidst trade-offs, incidents, and shifts in strategy.
• Leverage data and customer insights to inform priorities, engineering choices, and growth strategies.
• Thoughtfully integrate AI to enhance team efficiency and work quality while preserving human judgment and accountability.
• Oversee three teams and facilitate the evolution of Storage, Stream, and Frontend products at scale.
• Proven experience managing one or more products from inception to completion, including customer discovery, strategy, delivery, adoption, and growth.
• Experience in leading multiple teams while directing priorities and resolving challenging decisions.
• Background in storage, streaming, CDN/edge, developer platforms, or closely related experience.
• Strong technical acumen across distributed systems, architecture, and decision-making trade-offs.
• Capability to link engineering decisions with customer value, adoption, and growth.
• Developer experience oriented mindset, with instances of enhancing tooling, platforms, or workflows.
• Proficiency in articulating a clear vision, simplifying complex subjects, and engaging in detailed technical discussions.
• History of providing clear feedback, establishing high standards, and cultivating individuals into greater ownership roles.
• Comfort in operating without a predefined playbook, identifying root causes, and implementing solutions.
• Experience guiding a product or platform from concept through launch and ongoing adoption is a plus.
• Metrics awareness and practical decision-making are advantageous.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and readiness to experiment are beneficial.
• Must be located in Europe, ideally within CET ±3 hours.
