Engineering Manager – Integrations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Oversee the delivery of third-party integrations and platform functionalities from the prioritization phase through to launch and ongoing operation.

• Develop reusable playbooks, technical frameworks, and processes aimed at minimizing time and effort for future integration launches.

• Mentor and guide engineers, fostering technical growth while aligning development efforts with team and organizational goals.

• Champion continuous enhancement in engineering practices and processes.

• Ensure a satisfying and dependable customer experience while facilitating swift development.

• Collaborate with the team, Product, and Design to create new customer-facing products and enhance existing offerings.

• Serve as the team's representative to the broader organization, acknowledging successes and taking responsibility for failures.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience directly supervising software engineers.

• Proven ability to guide and mentor direct reports, offering performance feedback, conducting hiring processes, and cultivating a diverse, collaborative, and inclusive team environment.

• Experience in leading integrations, API/developer platforms, ecosystems, or marketplace teams.

• Established track record in shipping and managing third-party integrations while overseeing partner dependencies and ensuring API reliability.

• Strong leadership skills, including coaching for growth and advancement, as well as addressing persistent underperformance.

• Competence in developing operational frameworks for prioritization, delivery, quality, and cross-functional decision-making.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with Product, TPM, GTM, and external technical stakeholders.

• Capability to link technical strategy with organizational objectives and deliver measurable results.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills suitable for executives, technical teams, and non-technical audiences.

• Comfortable with taking ownership of ambiguous, high-autonomy tasks and driving them to successful completion.
