This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Design and implement modular, maintainable software solutions that are optimized for both performance and scalability.
β’ Facilitate discussions on feature and epic design, integrating feedback from diverse teams.
β’ Make technical decisions that align with business goals and fulfill customer requirements.
β’ Address technical uncertainties through thorough analysis and collaboration.
β’ Manage medium to large-scale projects from initial concept to delivery with minimal oversight.
β’ Collaborate across teams to identify and oversee technical dependencies.
β’ Uphold coding standards while adhering to project deadlines.
β’ Advocate for best practices in software development, testing, and deployment.
β’ Enhance CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and monitoring systems.
β’ Conduct actionable code reviews.
β’ Promote the reduction of technical debt and refactoring of legacy code.
β’ Mentor junior engineers on best practices and modern development methodologies.
β’ Encourage knowledge sharing through code reviews, pair programming, and technical discussions.
β’ Resolve conflicts independently when feasible, escalating as necessary.
β’ Influence technical direction with well-reasoned arguments and expertise.
β’ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
β’ At least 5 years of experience in software engineering.
β’ Proven experience in leading significant technical projects.
β’ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
β’ A collaborative mindset with the capability to influence colleagues.
β’ Flexible approach to evolving requirements and priorities.
β’ Extensive proficiency in software development languages and frameworks.
β’ Experience with agile development methodologies is essential.
β’ Familiarity with performance optimization techniques.
β’ Extensive experience with C#, .NET, React, and SQL.
β’ Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub, Postman, Octopus, and Datadog.
β’ In-depth understanding of system architecture principles.
β’ Availability for five days a week during designated work hours.
β’ Experience in banking and money movement topics is a plus.
β’ Familiarity with AWS or similar cloud platforms is desirable.
β’ Experience utilizing AI tools to expedite code development is a plus.
β’ Ability to sit for extended periods, typically 7β8 hours a day.
