📋 Description

• Accountable for the design and development of real-time embedded software/firmware as well as PC/mobile software applications.

• Analyze domain-specific technical or low-level requirements and make modifications according to customer or system needs.

• Engage in high-level and low-level software design.

• Conduct software testing, including unit, functional, and system level requirements, utilizing both manual and automated methods.

• Ensure traceability from software requirements to design, coding, and testing.

• Execute code reviews in accordance with coding guidelines and perform static code analysis.

• Diagnose software issues of limited complexity.

• Document technical deliverables such as software specifications, design documents, code comments, test cases, test reports, release notes, etc., throughout the project lifecycle.

• Adhere to established processes for the software development lifecycle.

• Create software solutions using established programming languages or by acquiring new languages as required for specific projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong understanding of Linux device drivers, Linux kernel programming, Linux kernel internals, Yocto/Buildroot, or other build systems.

• Proficient in using development tools such as oscilloscopes, protocol analyzers, emulators, signal generators, JTAG programmers, GIT, SVN, and JIRA.

• Experience with various embedded microprocessors, including those from Qualcomm, TI, NXP, NVIDIA, Intel, or comparable manufacturers.

• Familiarity with board support packages, device driver development/porting, and boot loader development.

• Ability to interpret hardware schematics and datasheets of hardware components to derive firmware/software-specific solutions.

• Demonstrated strong sense of ownership, passion, quick learning ability, analytical mindset, and a pursuit of perfection.
