This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.
• Offer expertise in endpoint security technologies, encompassing the design, configuration, integration, and deployment of enterprise security software and infrastructure.
• Enhance and sustain endpoint security platforms and processes, including antivirus, antimalware, encryption, system hardening, EDR, MDM, web content management, DNS security, identity solutions, SIEM, and patch management.
• Conduct threat analysis, monitor security events for breaches, and assess suspicious activities.
• Support the health, performance, stabilization, and tuning of endpoint infrastructure.
• Investigate emerging technologies and engage in enterprise technology evaluations and roadmap discussions with leadership and vendors.
• Assess endpoint security solutions and devise strategies to bolster protection against emerging threats.
• Evaluate security technologies and pinpoint opportunities for enhanced endpoint protection controls.
• Ensure that security solutions, policies, and procedures effectively address threats; propose technical support processes, metrics, and SLAs.
• Uphold and enforce endpoint security policies and standards consistent with governance, risk, audit policies, regulations, best practices, ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS.
• Generate and present endpoint security and compliance reports.
• Assist in the implementation and documentation of approved endpoint security software and infrastructure.
• Manage projects from initiation to completion, aligning with business requirements and stakeholder standards.
• Ensure adherence to corporate governance, security risk, audit policies, and best practices.
• Mentor junior team members and act as a point of contact for escalation and engagement.
• Develop technical documentation, policies, and procedures; convey technical standards to IT teams and junior staff.
• Maintain regular attendance, participate in mandatory training and meetings, and adapt to varying schedules as necessary.
• Oversee multiple projects to ensure timely completion.
• Execute additional duties as assigned.
• A 4-year college/university degree or technical degree is required, along with applicable industry certifications and relevant experience.
• CISSP certification is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Information Security within an enterprise setting.
• At least 2 years of experience as a technical project lead and primary support role.
• Extensive hands-on experience with endpoint security technologies and solutions, including Privileged Access Management, Endpoint Privilege Management, threat hunting and remediation, exploit mitigation, vulnerability assessment/management/monitoring tools, anti-virus/malware telemetry, operating systems (Windows/Mac/Linux), SIEM security-event triage, identity and cybersecurity tools, audits and compliance, incident response, mobile device management, cloud security, investigations, IP/DHCP/DNS, Microsoft Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Web Content Management, Patch Management, and RMM.
• Strong understanding of host and network-based attack methodologies.
• Solid knowledge of governance frameworks such as ITIL and NIST.
• Expertise in endpoint security best practices.
• Familiarity with network and firewall infrastructure.
• Must be able to safely lift and carry computer equipment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be open to domestic or international travel up to 20% of the time.
• Preferred: familiarity with Ivanti, Sentinel One, Palo Alto Networks, Sophos, Cisco Umbrella, and Idira/CyberArk.
• Preferred: experience in retail, travel, restaurants, or hospitality sectors.
• Preferred: knowledge of PCI and SOX compliance.
