Senior Engineer, Core

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design and uphold fundamental technology systems utilizing Unreal Engine.

• Suggest and implement strategies to meet the performance and scalability requirements of a vast open-world game.

• Collaborate with Epic to exchange ideas and enhance technology.

• Develop technology that provides unforgettable player experiences.

• Work collaboratively across various disciplines to satisfy stakeholder requirements.

• Build tools and data pipelines for an expansive world while minimizing performance impact.

• Maintain proactive and transparent communication with system power users, fostering strong, ongoing relationships.

• Lead the project in creating technology for the new Witcher saga and upcoming games.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with Unreal Engine, particularly in areas such as streaming, memory systems, physics, or world-building tools.

• Proficient in C++ programming.

• Relevant experience in game development, including involvement in a AAA title.

• Background in developing for both PC and console platforms.

• Familiarity with multithreaded programming.

• Strong skills in system architecture.

• Capability to debug and optimize code effectively.

• Collaborative approach with excellent communication skills.

• Proven ability to foster trusted relationships across teams.

• Experience in custom game engine development is advantageous but not mandatory.
