Senior Engineer, Back-End – Security Controls

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and develop specialized normalizers tailored for each EDR vendor.

• Engineer essential product features utilizing ETL and GraphQL technologies.

• Design and construct backend GraphQL APIs.

• Establish and sustain ETL pipelines for optimal data processing and analytics.

• Oversee the integration platform for security controls.

• Develop real-time API pipelines and define internal schemas.

• Handle versioning, deprecations, fault tolerance, and the monitoring of integration health.

• Work collaboratively with the broader backend engineering team on scalability and reliability initiatives.

• Partner with frontend team members to effectively present data and enhance user experience.

• Contribute to product launches aimed at users, platform improvements, and system stability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

• Over 7 years of professional experience in software engineering utilizing modern object-oriented or functional programming languages.

• Proficient in Python, Java, Go, Scala, C++, TypeScript, or comparable languages.

• Experience in building applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP platforms.

• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Advanced proficiency in SQL.

• Extensive experience in developing and maintaining third-party API integrations at scale.

• Practical knowledge of EDR platforms and insight into how SOC teams utilize EDR data.

• Background in ETL and GraphQL technologies.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent technical documentation skills.

• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with designers, developers, and product managers.

• Willingness and enthusiasm for mentoring junior and mid-level engineers.
