Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Architect, develop, and sustain robust, scalable server-side logic and database frameworks for FyerX's internal functions and various client technology transformations.

• Design and create high-performance RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints to ensure secure communication between front-end interfaces and external third-party services.

• Manage, data-model, and optimize relational and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.

• Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and project managers to identify performance bottlenecks, enhance workflows, and align backend architecture with business objectives.

• Implement security protocols and supervise data protection initiatives.

• Oversee CI/CD deployment pipelines.

• Perform regular performance tuning to ensure application stability.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience in back-end development.

• Strong portfolio demonstrating scalable server-side applications, robust APIs, and advanced database architecture.

• Established track record of constructing, deploying, and maintaining secure, high-load server-side systems.

• Advanced proficiency in one or more back-end programming languages such as Node.js, Python, Java, Ruby, or PHP.

• Familiarity with related frameworks like Express, Django, or Spring Boot.

• In-depth understanding of database architecture, schema design, data modeling, and advanced query optimization across SQL and NoSQL platforms.

• Practical experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.

• Skilled in server management and containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Expertise in strategic problem-solving.

• Commitment to writing clean, modular, scalable, and thoroughly documented code.

• Strong organizational, time-tracking, and project management abilities.

• Capability to manage multiple backend projects concurrently, meet tight deadlines, and effectively coordinate with remote technology and marketing teams.
