This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design and execute secure, end-to-end lifecycles for Kubernetes- or Docker-based clusters and applications.
• Partner with clients and internal teams to develop containerized solutions and cloud-native applications.
• Create, sustain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines to ensure secure and efficient software delivery.
• Employ GitOps principles to facilitate automated and dependable deployment processes.
• Integrate DevSecOps best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Oversee log management and utilize analytics tools for system monitoring and optimization.
• Utilize AWS and other cloud platforms to ensure reliability, scalability, and security.
• Contribute to secure network configurations and the architecture of cloud-based security.
• Implement Agile, DevOps, and DevSecOps methodologies.
• Provide assistance with Service Mesh solutions such as Istio.
• Collaborate using GitLab and automation tools like Ansible, Maven, and Gradle.
• Engage in secure, automated software development through CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor cloud technologies, best practices, and emerging security threats to propose innovative solutions.
• Maintain infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC).
• This role is based in the U.S.; all work must be performed within the continental United States.
• U.S. citizenship is required for employment eligibility.
• 3-4 years of experience with Kubernetes or Docker.
• Capability to develop and implement comprehensive cluster and application lifecycles.
• Familiarity with AWS and cloud technologies.
• Strong understanding of Agile, DevOps, and DevSecOps methodologies.
• Experience in networking.
• Knowledge or experience with Service Mesh, such as Istio.
• Background in software systems development using CI/CD pipelines.
• Enthusiasm for automation, system efficiency, and security.
• Proficiency in log management and analytics tools.
• Expertise in AWS Cloud Services, GitLab, Ansible, Maven, and Gradle.
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code and unit/integration testing.
• Experience in preparing architectural diagrams for ATO packages.
• Experience in enforcing RBAC and ABAC policies at the data level.
• Knowledge of baseline RKE2, Apache, Kafka, HDFS, and other applications.
• Track record in designing, engineering, and implementing security solutions.
• Experience in conducting regular penetration testing on various systems.
• Candidates must possess an active security clearance or higher.
• Highly preferred: experience in writing custom Helm Charts.
• Highly preferred: basic experience with Big Data.
• Highly preferred: multilingual programming skills.
• Highly preferred: familiarity with automation languages such as Python or GoLang.
