Senior Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Deliver remote technical support across client IT environments, infrastructure, and networks.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, configure, and enhance hardware, systems, and network infrastructure.

• Investigate intricate technical challenges, identify solutions, and implement effective resolutions.

• Collaborate with clients to grasp business needs and recommend appropriate technology solutions.

• Execute infrastructure projects, which include solution design, requirement gathering, implementation planning, and deployment.

• Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and system designs.

• Monitor system performance, analyze logs, and manage incidents to guarantee optimal service delivery.

• Work alongside vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure successful client results.

• Serve as a senior escalation point, offering technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to junior team members.

• Assist with solution architecture, technical pre-sales activities, and proposal development.

• Foster continuous improvement through process optimization, automation, and ongoing professional development.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in a Senior Engineer role, with a proven history of designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise infrastructure, networking, and security solutions.

• In-depth knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, virtualization, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity.

• Experience with routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, VRRP), SD-WAN, and security appliances.

• Proven success in delivering IT infrastructure projects and supporting complex server environments.

• Exceptional troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Strong leadership skills, capable of mentoring junior engineers and acting as a technical escalation point.

• Client-focused, well-organized, and dedicated to continuous learning and professional growth.

• Relevant industry certifications (Fortinet, Cisco, Microsoft, VMware, Sophos, Citrix, or similar).
