Senior Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Deliver remote technical assistance across client infrastructure, network, and IT environments.

• Identify, troubleshoot, repair, configure, and update hardware, systems, and network infrastructure.

• Explore intricate technical challenges, determine solutions, and enact effective resolutions.

• Collaborate with clients to comprehend business needs and propose appropriate technology solutions.

• Execute infrastructure projects, which include solution design, requirement gathering, implementation planning, and deployment.

• Create and sustain technical documentation, procedures, and system designs.

• Oversee system performance, analyze logs, and manage incidents to guarantee optimal service delivery.

• Work in partnership with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure successful client outcomes.

• Serve as a senior escalation point, offering technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior team members.

• Assist in solution architecture, technical pre-sales activities, and proposal formulation.

• Promote ongoing improvement through process optimization, automation, and continuous professional development.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in a Senior Engineer position, with a demonstrated history of designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise infrastructure, networking, and security solutions.

• Strong understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, virtualization, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity.

• Proficiency in routing and switching (BGP, OSPF, VRRP), SD-WAN, and security appliances.

• Proven success in delivering IT infrastructure projects and managing complex server environments.

• Exceptional troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Strong leadership skills, with the capacity to mentor junior engineers and serve as a technical escalation point.

• Client-centered, highly organized, and dedicated to ongoing learning and professional growth.

• Relevant industry certifications (Fortinet, Cisco, Microsoft, VMware, Sophos, Citrix, or equivalent).

• Availability to work from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM (Manila Time).
