📋 Description

• Execute intricate electricity market modeling and analyze transmission congestion using the PROMOD market simulation model alongside security constrained economic dispatch (SCED).

• Evaluate study outcomes to create valuable and actionable deliverables for clients.

• Oversee client interactions and maintain ongoing relationships.

• Present findings and study results to client executives.

• Investigate critical operational processes and current issues/trends within energy markets.

• Engage in business development activities through collaboration with internal teams and direct interaction with clients and prospects.

• Cultivate and strengthen key client relationships.

• Provide support for projects and collaborate with both colleagues and managers independently.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, science, finance, or a related field with over 12 years of relevant experience; additional pertinent experience may be accepted in place of a degree.

• Proficiency in energy markets utilizing modeling software such as PROMOD IV, Encompass, UPLAN, or Plexos.

• Experience within the electricity sector conducting economic studies on both conventional and renewable generation.

• Exceptional quantitative and analytical capabilities.

• Demonstrated ability to lead and effectively communicate project outcomes both verbally and in writing.

• Strong understanding and interest in power markets.

• Familiarity with basic transmission system operations and nodal (LMP) price formation.

• Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
