Senior Endpoint / Intune Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Evaluate the 115 current Group Policies utilizing Microsoft Group Policy Analytics.

• Develop a plan for structuring the settings within Intune.

• Create, test, and implement all settings in phases, followed by the decommissioning of the old Group Policies.

• Identify alternative solutions for settings that lack a direct equivalent in Intune, including scripts, drive mappings, and printers.

• Implement Windows LAPS.

• Verify that BitLocker disk-encryption keys are securely stored in the cloud.

• Remove inactive accounts and outdated devices.

• Assist with ring-based deployment and pilot evaluation.

• Reconstruct settings that are currently applied to computers via Group Policy in Microsoft Intune.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience at a senior level in Endpoint / Intune engineering.

• In-depth knowledge of Group Policy internals, including GPP Scripts, Security options, and Firewall settings.

• Proficient in using Group Policy Analytics.

• Familiarity with the Intune Settings Catalog.

• Experience with ADMX importation.

• Knowledge of OMA-URI.

• Competence in developing remediation scripts.

• Experience with Windows LAPS implementation.

• Familiarity with BitLocker key escrow processes.

• Understanding of Autopilot and Universal Print functionalities.
