This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +1 more state.
• Lead the strategy and execution of enterprise employee communications.
• Manage internal communication channels, which include the intranet, newsletters, town hall meetings, leadership communications, and employee updates.
• Develop communication plans that align with company goals, initiatives, and priorities.
• Ensure messaging consistency across all employee-facing channels.
• Formulate communication strategies for organizational changes, business transformations, acquisitions, restructures, policy updates, and operational initiatives.
• Collaborate with leadership and Human Resources to enhance employee understanding and facilitate change adoption.
• Produce stakeholder-specific messaging, FAQs, leader toolkits, talking points, and comprehensive communication plans.
• Evaluate communication effectiveness and pinpoint barriers to adoption.
• Compose executive presentations, speeches, leadership messages, updates, and other communication materials.
• Assist in promoting executive visibility and supporting leadership communication initiatives.
• Prepare resources that enable leaders to engage employees effectively.
• Support initiatives that enhance employee understanding, engagement, and alignment with company values and business objectives.
• Create campaigns that bolster culture, recognition, quality, safety, and employee experience initiatives.
• Collaborate with functional leaders to promote enterprise programs and business priorities.
• Uphold communication standards, messaging frameworks, and approval processes.
• Establish metrics and reporting for communication efforts.
• Assess the effectiveness of significant communication initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to enhance communication reach, comprehension, and engagement.
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a relevant field.
• More than 8 years of experience in communications.
• Proven experience in leading large-scale employee and change communication initiatives.
• Outstanding writing, editing, and executive communication abilities.
• Experience in supporting senior executives and leadership teams.
• Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
• Preferred experience in supporting a high-growth organization.
• Background in engineering, construction, manufacturing, technology, infrastructure, or an industrial environment is preferred.
• Change management certification or formal change management experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with intranet, employee engagement, and enterprise communication platforms is preferred.
