This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +1 more state.
• Lead the strategy and execution of employee communications across the enterprise.
• Manage internal communication platforms, such as the intranet, newsletters, town hall meetings, leadership communications, and employee updates.
• Develop communication plans that align with the company's goals, initiatives, and priorities.
• Ensure a consistent message across all employee-facing communication channels.
• Create communication strategies for organizational changes, business transformations, acquisitions, restructures, policy updates, and operational initiatives.
• Collaborate with leadership and Human Resources to enhance employee comprehension and adoption of changes.
• Generate stakeholder-specific messaging, FAQs, leader toolkits, talking points, and comprehensive communication plans.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of communications and identify barriers to adoption.
• Prepare executive presentations, speeches, leadership messages, updates, and other communication materials.
• Assist in enhancing executive visibility and leadership communication efforts.
• Create materials that facilitate effective engagement of employees by leaders.
• Support initiatives that enhance employee understanding, engagement, and connection to company values and business objectives.
• Develop campaigns that promote culture, recognition, quality, safety, and employee experience initiatives.
• Collaborate with functional leaders to elevate enterprise programs and business priorities.
• Uphold communication standards, messaging frameworks, and approval processes.
• Set up communication metrics and reporting systems.
• Assess the impact of major communication initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to enhance communication reach, understanding, and engagement.
• A Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related discipline.
• Over 8 years of experience in communications.
• Proven experience in leading large-scale employee and change communication initiatives.
• Outstanding writing, editing, and executive communication abilities.
• Experience in supporting senior executives and leadership teams.
• Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
• Preferred experience in supporting a high-growth organization.
• Background in engineering, construction, manufacturing, technology, infrastructure, or an industrial environment is preferred.
• Change management certification or formal change management experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with intranet, employee engagement, and enterprise communication platforms is preferred.
