Senior Embedded Linux Engineer, C++, Yocto, Qt

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Create and sustain software solutions for Embedded Linux platforms utilizing C++.

• Develop, modify, and provide support for BSP layers, platform integrations, and Yocto-based build systems.

• Design, create, and maintain Qt-based applications tailored for embedded devices.

• Integrate application-level software with Linux services, BSP components, hardware interfaces, and SQLite for data storage.

• Collaborate closely with hardware teams to conduct system integration, testing, and validation tasks.

• Troubleshoot and resolve software, BSP, UI, database, and hardware-related challenges, performing root cause analysis across the Linux stack.

• Assist in the implementation of new device features, platform enhancements, and system-level upgrades.

• Contribute to the stability of systems, performance optimization, and overall product dependability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in Embedded Linux development.

• Strong expertise in C++ programming.

• Practical experience in BSP (Board Support Package) development, customization, and maintenance.

• Experience engaging directly with hardware and system integration.

• Significant experience with Yocto and Linux build systems.

• Proficient in developing applications with Qt.

• Familiarity with SQLite or similar embedded database systems.

• Solid understanding of Linux system architecture.

• Experience diagnosing software, BSP, and hardware-related issues.

• Proven experience working with both system-level and application-level software.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for root cause analysis.
