This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• Serve as the technical owner for Credit Risk applications and services.
• Ensure the stability, security, resilience, and availability of applications.
• Provide Level 3 production support for incidents, problems, and service requests.
• Investigate and resolve intricate technical issues within agreed SLAs.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, operations, and business teams to minimize service disruptions.
• Design, develop, test, and implement new features, enhancements, and defect fixes.
• Deliver changes driven by regulatory, compliance, and business needs.
• Maintain and enhance existing applications while reducing technical debt.
• Ensure all developments adhere to change management and release processes.
• Participate in production deployments and validate post-release outcomes.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers and support engineers.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices.
• Advocate for high-quality software design, testing, security, and maintainability.
• Promote knowledge sharing and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and priorities.
• Offer technical expertise during incident management and problem resolution.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors as necessary.
• Support audit, risk, and compliance initiatives pertaining to managed applications.
• Over 7 years of software development experience in enterprise environments.
• More than 5 years of experience in Technical Lead roles.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Java development.
• Strong backend development capabilities using Java 21.
• Frontend development experience with Angular.
• Familiarity with Apache Maven, Node.js, and relational databases.
• Extensive experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs, Microservices, and enterprise-scale applications.
• Proven track record of writing unit tests and implementing automated testing practices.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented design principles and API best practices.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Strong knowledge of software security, maintainability, and development best practices.
• Experience in designing enterprise software solutions and system architecture.
• Proficiency in English at a C1 level or higher.
• Nice to Have: Experience in supporting Credit Risk, Lending, or other Financial Services applications.
• Knowledge of Credit Risk integrations and data processing workflows.
