This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and implement strategies to achieve the organization's objectives.
• Engage with management to identify and execute strategies that enhance quality, efficiency, service standards, and operational procedures.
• Oversee and manage both routine and non-routine projects.
• Create, update, and sustain departmental instructional materials.
• Manage the inventory of IRB Operations documents.
• Act as a subject matter expert for IRB Operations teams regarding operational matters.
• Address internal and external inquiries as a subject matter expert.
• Support Client Experience, Client Success, and QA teams with client inquiries related to Client Services processes.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, team leaders, and managers to ensure uniformity in responses and methodologies.
• Evaluate and analyze complete submissions for quality, customer satisfaction, and adherence to processes.
• Complete tasks within expected turnaround times.
• Participate in conferences and workshops.
• Lead presentations during meetings as required.
• Finish assigned training promptly.
• Work with department managers on daily workload adjustments as necessary.
• A Bachelor’s degree or five (5) years of equivalent experience in a clinical research or healthcare environment is preferred.
• Certification as an IRB Professional (CIP) or the ability to achieve CIP certification within one (1) year of eligibility.
• A minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated expertise in a related position.
• Experience handling responsibilities with team-wide visibility and impact, including regularly providing training and guidance to teams or other groups.
• Proven ability to function as an expert in operational processes and offer valuable insights to junior staff.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Proficiency in SharePoint.
• Experience with document version control and tracking.
• Capacity to adapt to evolving technologies and document management systems.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods at a stationary workstation.
• Capability to frequently lift, raise, and lower objects weighing up to 10 lbs.
• Ability to learn and understand basic instructions.
• Strong focus and attention to tasks and responsibilities.
• Strong verbal communication skills, including listening, understanding, responding, and speaking.
