📋 Description

• Develop and oversee the global supply chain strategy across all regions and business segments.

• Convert the supply chain strategy into an operational model, defining priorities and creating an execution roadmap.

• Manage the supply chain center of excellence and implement action plans to meet targets.

• Coordinate supply chain management across product lines, focusing on raw material planning, inventory management, production planning, and finished goods scheduling.

• Communicate warehousing requirements and oversee finished goods distribution throughout the global supply chain.

• Report performance metrics and organize regular meetings to enhance supply chain efficiency, including compliance with trade regulations.

• Formulate, develop, and convey the supply chain strategy in alignment with the overall business strategy.

• Oversee financial performance in the supply chain, including budgets, working capital, inventory reserves, productivity, service levels, cost-to-serve, and realized financial benefits.

• Lead initiatives in Supply Planning, Inventory Optimization, and Network Supply Strategy.

• Direct a global team of directors and/or senior managers, focusing on capability development, succession planning, workforce strategy, organizational design, and personal development.

• Establish and approve global supply chain policies, planning standards, inventory governance frameworks, and performance metrics.

• Promote consistency in tools and processes across various functions and collaborate with global sourcing to address ongoing supply challenges.

• Define decision-making rights and resolve cross-functional trade-offs related to service, inventory, capacity, sourcing, costs, and customer commitments.

• Co-manage the Integrated Business Planning and S&OP governance framework alongside the Sr. Director of Demand Planning.

• Advocate for BMP Chemicals' supply chain interests with suppliers, customers, manufacturing partners, and other external stakeholders.

• Counsel executive leadership on portfolio management, capital investments, customer service, sourcing strategies, and growth opportunities.

• Ensure the accuracy of master data.

• Lead supply chain transformations, focusing on process standardization, digital enablement, advanced analytics, planning system evolution, and sustained adoption.

• Ensure that capacity and capabilities align with growth and innovation initiatives.

• Manage global supply chain risk, business continuity, geopolitical risk mitigation, supplier resilience, and strategic inventory policies.

• Lead responses to significant supply chain disruptions and coordinate executive decision-making and recovery strategies.

• Establish strategies for manufacturing and distribution networks, including nearshoring/reshoring, external manufacturing, long-term capacity planning, and a three- to five-year roadmap.

• Oversee the development, consolidation, and communication of demand forecasting and inventory management impacts on finance and manufacturing operations.

• Create, communicate, and monitor production plans to achieve customer service and inventory targets in collaboration with manufacturing sites.

• Manage enterprise supply chain performance metrics, including inventory turns, service levels, working capital, and productivity.

• Facilitate supply trade-off decisions in S&OP or S&OE processes.

• Engage in new product development, product launches and phase-outs, inventory management, customer service planning, and obsolete inventory reduction.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field is required.

• An MBA is preferred.

• Green Belt Six Sigma Certifications & Supply Chain Certification (APICS/IBF) are preferred.

• At least ten (10) years of experience in commercial and operations-oriented roles.

• A minimum of eight (8) years in key management roles with direct responsibility for strategic leadership in Operations and/or Supply Chain Planning functions.

• Extensive knowledge of the planning/S&OP process and a solid understanding of business/financial objectives.

• A proven history of meeting or exceeding performance goals.

• Experience in the chemical industry is preferred.

• In-depth knowledge of ERP systems, particularly with SAP/APO, is required.

• Demonstrated application of OpEx/ABS or other continuous improvement methodologies.

• Capability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across global and cross-functional teams.

• Understanding of the financial implications of plans and actions.

• Well-honed project management skills.

• Strong strategic agility, change leadership, collaboration, and influence capabilities.

• Proven ability to lead and nurture a global organization.

• Effective communication skills to engage with all organizational levels, including executive management.

• Excellent presentation abilities.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required.

• Solid organizational and time management skills.

• Strong problem-solving abilities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
