This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the strategic and operational management of procurement, inventory planning and control, and governance of supply chain master data for the AFH and Masterflex business units.
• Formulate and implement global and regional procurement strategies that align with organizational goals.
• Assist in supplier selection, contract negotiations, supplier relationship management, cost savings initiatives, value engineering, and enhancements in supply continuity.
• Ensure adherence to procurement policies, contractual obligations, regulatory standards, quality benchmarks, and corporate governance requirements.
• Lead efforts in inventory optimization, setting inventory policies and stocking strategies, and tracking inventory turnover, Days Inventory Outstanding (DIO), fill rates, and stockouts.
• Drive the Supply aspect of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) in collaboration with the Demand Planning department.
• Reduce excess and obsolete inventory while ensuring customer service requirements are met.
• Establish governance frameworks and supervise the accuracy, integrity, and uniformity of supply chain master data.
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders on data quality, ERP optimization, system implementations, ERP transformations, and digital supply chain initiatives.
• Lead stewardship of master data and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Create Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to track supply chain performance.
• Implement Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.
• Identify and deploy technological solutions that enhance visibility, automation, and operational efficiency.
• Manage procurement expenditures, inventory investments, departmental budgets, cost savings, and working capital enhancement targets.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and developing strategic investment business cases.
• Lead and nurture teams in procurement, inventory management, and master data.
• Set performance expectations and development plans, mentor future leaders, and collaborate with HR on succession planning and talent management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Over 10 years of progressive leadership experience in supply chain management.
• Proven experience in leading procurement, inventory planning, and master data functions.
• Strong expertise in supplier management and inventory optimization.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as Epicor, SAP, Oracle, JDE, or similar platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in complex global organizations.
• In-depth knowledge of procurement, inventory management, and supply chain best practices.
• Strong grasp of master data governance principles.
• Excellent analytical, financial, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience with S&OP and supply planning methodologies.
• Ability to influence senior management and promote organizational change.
• Advanced skills in data analysis and dashboard reporting.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
• Preferred certifications include APICS/ASCM (CPIM, CSCP), CPSM, Lean Six Sigma, and PMP.
