This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Develop and oversee the global supply chain strategy across all regions and business units.

• Convert strategy into a supply chain operating framework, establish priorities, and create an execution roadmap.

• Manage the supply chain center of excellence and implement action plans to meet objectives.

• Coordinate supply chain management for all product lines, encompassing raw material planning, inventory management, production planning, and finished goods scheduling.

• Articulate warehousing requirements and oversee the global distribution of finished goods for single-sourced products.

• Present metrics and organize regular meetings to enhance supply chain performance, including trade compliance.

• Supervise supply chain financial performance, including budgets, working capital, inventory reserves, productivity, service levels, and cost-to-serve.

• Direct Supply Planning, Inventory Optimization, and Network Supply Strategy.

• Lead a global team and cultivate organizational capabilities, succession planning, leadership development, workforce strategy, and future supply chain leaders.

• Define and authorize enterprise supply chain policies, planning standards, inventory governance models, and performance frameworks.

• Promote uniform tools and processes across functions and address persistent supply challenges with global sourcing.

• Establish decision-making authority and resolve cross-functional trade-offs concerning service, inventory, capacity, sourcing, costs, and customer commitments.

• Co-manage the BMP Chemicals Integrated Business Planning and S&OP governance framework.

• Advocate for supply chain interests with strategic suppliers, customers, manufacturing partners, and external stakeholders.

• Provide counsel to executive leadership regarding portfolio management, capital investments, customer service, sourcing, and growth strategies.

• Maintain accuracy of master data.

• Spearhead supply chain transformation, process standardization, digital enablement, advanced analytics, planning system evolution, and adoption initiatives.

• Ensure capacity and capabilities align with growth and innovation objectives.

• Oversee global supply chain risk management, business continuity, geopolitical risk mitigation, supplier resiliency, and strategic inventory policies.

• Lead responses to significant disruptions and coordinate executive decisions and recovery strategies.

• Develop manufacturing and distribution network strategies, including nearshoring/reshoring, external manufacturing, long-term capacity planning, and a three- to five-year roadmap.

• Communicate the impacts of demand forecasting and inventory management to finance and manufacturing operations.

• Create and oversee production plans in collaboration with manufacturing sites.

• Manage supply chain performance metrics, including inventory turns, service levels, working capital, and productivity.

• Facilitate supply trade-off decisions in S&OP or S&OE processes.

• Engage in new product development, product launches and phase-outs, inventory control, customer service implications, and strategies for reducing obsolete inventory.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related discipline is required.

• A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in commercial and operations-focused roles.

• At least eight (8) years in significant management positions with direct responsibility for strategic leadership in Operations and/or Supply Chain Planning functions.

• Extensive knowledge of the planning/S&OP process and an understanding of business/financial objectives.

• Proven success in achieving or surpassing goals.

• Experience in the chemical industry is preferred.

• In-depth familiarity with ERP systems, particularly SAP/APO, is required.

• Demonstrated application of OpEx/ABS or other continuous improvement methodologies.

• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate globally and cross-functionally.

• Strong understanding of the financial implications of plans and actions.

• Well-developed project management capabilities.

• Strong strategic agility, change leadership, collaboration, and influence skills.

• A proven track record of leading and developing a global organization.

• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including executive management.

• Exceptional presentation skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities are essential.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Excellent problem-solving capabilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
