This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Provide leadership for the Division in sourcing, procurement, and materials management for the Motion Control Systems and Micro Motion brands.
• Create and implement integrated sourcing and materials strategies that facilitate business growth, enhance service performance, optimize working capital, and achieve measurable improvements in cost and productivity.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Business Leadership to enhance supplier performance, develop organizational capability, and ensure a robust and scalable supply chain.
• Define and implement the comprehensive sourcing and materials strategy for MCS and MM.
• Lead and nurture a global team focused on strategic sourcing, direct materials, inventory planning, supplier development, and materials management.
• Establish clear operating models, governance structures, and accountability across various business lines.
• Develop and implement enterprise commodity strategies aimed at driving outcomes related to cost, quality, delivery, and risk mitigation.
• Oversee supplier selection, negotiation, contracting, and performance management for key suppliers.
• Promote standardized practices in materials planning and inventory management across sites.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to the MCS and MM leadership teams regarding supply chain risks, trade-offs, and strategic investments.
• Cultivate strong leadership capabilities and succession planning within sourcing and materials teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• Over 10 years of progressive leadership experience in sourcing, materials, or supply chain within complex global manufacturing settings.
• Proven track record of successfully leading multi-site, multi-business organizations with senior-level leadership responsibilities.
• Extensive experience in strategic sourcing, materials planning, inventory optimization, and supplier management.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve measurable improvements in cost, delivery, quality, and working capital.
• Preferred experience operating across multiple business units or segments with varying customer, product, and regulatory requirements.
• Background in regulated or highly engineered manufacturing environments (e.g., industrial, motion control, defense, or aerospace) is preferred.
• Expertise in Lean / Continuous Improvement with a proven record of enterprise transformation is preferred.
• An advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is a plus.
