This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee several engineering teams that focus on identity and access management, shared services, runtime and infrastructure platforms, observability, reliability engineering, and core architectural patterns.
• Establish the engineering vision, synchronize roadmaps, influence architectural decisions, and guarantee technical sustainability.
• Direct the MarketPlace Engineering strategy and roadmap to align with business outcomes and product requirements.
• Collaborate with Product to provide scalable platform capabilities and set solid architectural foundations.
• Prioritize platform initiatives based on customer impact, risk mitigation, cost-effectiveness, and developer efficiency.
• Lead the execution across various teams and programs ensuring predictable delivery, high quality, and quantifiable results.
• Develop disciplined software engineering practices that encompass planning, requirements, architecture, and release management.
• Ensure the provision of high-quality platform APIs, service agreements, backward compatibility, and versioning methods.
• Take ownership of platform-wide reliability metrics including availability, latency, error rates, and resilience.
• Collaborate with SRE/CloudOps on incident management, postmortems, runbooks, and reliability protocols.
• Maintain security-by-default, ensure compliance alignment, and uphold governance standards.
• Advocate for an enhanced internal developer experience through self-service infrastructure, CI/CD modernization, test automation, tooling, documentation, and platform abstractions.
• Steer architectural direction across service boundaries, data patterns, eventing, multi-tenancy, and consistency.
• Manage technical debt and facilitate modernization efforts.
• Establish and uphold observability, security, architectural, and technology standards.
• Guide, mentor, and develop Engineering Directors, Engineering Managers, Staff+ Engineers, and technical leaders.
• Formulate a talent strategy that includes hiring, onboarding, retention, performance management, and succession planning.
• Collaborate with Product, Quality, UX/Design, Customer Success, and Support teams.
• Update executives and stakeholders on roadmap status, risks, trade-offs, and technical strategies.
• 15+ years of experience in software engineering.
• 8+ years of experience leading multi-team engineering organizations.
• Preferably experienced in the CPM/ERM industry.
• Proven success in leading platform, infrastructure, or foundational architecture teams within a modern SaaS/product company.
• Strong grasp of scalable distributed systems, cloud platforms, service design, and platform operating models.
• Experience in promoting engineering excellence across delivery, quality, reliability, security, and developer productivity.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit and develop high-performing engineering leaders and teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management capabilities.
• Familiarity with finance, enterprise SaaS, or heavily regulated domains such as SOX, SOC 2, FedRAMP, or GDPR.
• Prior experience with OneStream or financial CPM.
• Experience in developing internal developer platforms or leading large-scale platform modernization projects.
• Knowledge of multi-tenant architecture and enterprise identity patterns.
• Experience with high-availability systems and global-scale operations.
• Strong technical judgment and practical decision-making skills.
