This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.
• Create and implement the vision, strategy, and operational framework for the Enterprise PMO
• Set enterprise-wide standards for project management, methodologies, governance models, and execution practices
• Supervise the portfolio of strategic initiatives and major projects
• Assess, prioritize, sequence, and allocate resources for projects in collaboration with executive leadership
• Conduct portfolio reviews to discuss progress, risks, dependencies, resources, and value realization
• Recruit, develop, coach, and mentor Project Managers and PMO professionals
• Define standards for project leadership, stakeholder engagement, communication, and execution
• Facilitate executive steering committees, portfolio reviews, and governance forums
• Advise senior leadership on risks, resource allocation, project health, and decision-making
• Transform strategic objectives into actionable programs and projects
• Track performance, eliminate obstacles, and ensure accountability for milestones and outcomes
• Oversee discussions on resource allocation and organizational capacity
• Establish standards for project risk identification, mitigation, and escalation
• Lead recovery initiatives and organizational change management
• Create KPIs and dashboards to assess portfolio health, PMO effectiveness, business impact, value realization, resource utilization, and execution efficiency
• Foster a disciplined execution culture and enhance the PMO as a scalable strategic capability
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Operations, Organizational Leadership, or a related field
• Over 10 years of progressive experience in leading large-scale projects, programs, portfolios, or strategic initiatives
• More than 5 years of experience in leading project managers, PMO teams, or transformation organizations
• Experience in building or leading a Project Management Office
• Proven track record of managing enterprise-level strategic initiatives successfully
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior executives and cross-functional leadership teams
• Strong financial, operational, and business acumen
• Exceptional written, verbal, and executive communication abilities
• Experience in managing complex organizational change initiatives
• Advanced understanding of project management methodologies and governance frameworks
• PMP certification is preferred
• An MBA or Master's degree is preferred
• Experience in industrial manufacturing, engineered products, or global operating environments is preferred
• Experience in supporting growth strategies, operating model transformations, M&A integrations, organizational redesigns, or enterprise transformation efforts is preferred
• Experience in developing PMO capabilities within a matrixed global organization is preferred
