This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Formulate and implement national account and business development strategies aimed at driving profitable revenue growth and increasing market share.
• Oversee sales planning, forecasting, performance management, and strategic business evaluations.
• Examine customer, market, competitive, and performance data to uncover opportunities and allocate resources effectively.
• Cultivate relationships with executive-level stakeholders including customers, suppliers, contractors, and industry partners.
• Spearhead the strategic pursuit of substantial data center opportunities and engage stakeholders throughout the project's lifecycle.
• Maintain oversight of the data center project pipeline and coordinate pursuit strategies.
• Mentor and develop leaders and team members through setting expectations, accountability, coaching, and succession planning.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration among sales, operations, supply chain, pricing, digital, and other enterprise functions.
• Establish operational rhythms, performance metrics, and accountability measures to enhance pipeline conversion, productivity, customer experience, and sales effectiveness.
• Synchronize priorities, performance expectations, incentives, and resources among national accounts, inside sales, and business development teams.
• Foster and maintain a high-performing, inclusive, and accountable culture that aligns with White Cap’s TRUSTED values.
• Generally requires a BS/BA in a relevant discipline.
• Typically demands 9+ years of experience in a related area, including several years in a management or supervisory role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
• Over 10 years of progressive commercial leadership experience, particularly in national accounts, strategic sales, business development, and revenue growth management.
• Proven track record of driving significant revenue, profitability, market share, and customer growth in complex B2B, construction, or similar markets.
• Demonstrated capacity to establish and leverage executive-level relationships with customers, suppliers, contractors, and strategic partners.
• Experience managing large, geographically dispersed organizations through various levels of leadership.
• Strong skills in strategic planning, business development, financial analysis, executive communication, negotiation, and complex commercial decision-making.
• Extensive knowledge of commercial programs, procurement strategies, eCommerce, rebate solutions, safety and tool programs, and other initiatives that add customer value.
• Proven ability to provide enterprise-level strategic leadership while exercising independent judgment.
• Typically requires overnight travel 20% to 50% of the time.
