This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee Delinea’s Enterprise Security program while managing the SAE, SOC, and IAM teams.
• Establish strategic direction and ensure functional managers are accountable for their roadmaps, staffing, and performance metrics.
• Propel cross-functional security strategies and establish prioritization.
• Provide counsel to executive leadership regarding security-related business risks.
• Disseminate security best practices throughout the organization.
• Implement and uphold controls that align with compliance and regulatory standards.
• Create security architecture roadmaps, secure designs, and enhancements to the architecture.
• Identify vulnerabilities and threats within the current architecture.
• Collaborate with business units to convert requirements into effective security solutions.
• Supervise proactive monitoring and incident response, including analysis, containment, eradication, and recovery efforts.
• Establish cyber resilience and evaluate readiness for cyber crisis situations.
• Define and implement the enterprise IAM roadmap and long-term vision.
• Ensure that IAM architecture, compliance enforcement, and identity governance effectively mitigate risks.
• Lead and develop security leaders and team members.
• Set KPIs to track risks and assess the effectiveness of the security program.
• Cultivate relationships with senior leadership and support project and operational objectives through data analysis.
• Report directly to the CISO.
• In-depth knowledge of the current security landscape and best practices in the industry.
• Proven history of addressing complex cybersecurity challenges to protect enterprises and products through a risk-based approach.
• Demonstrated success in developing and enhancing comprehensive cybersecurity programs.
• Proven experience in constructing a multi-team security organization, ideally managing architecture, operations, and identity through direct reports.
• Experience supervising a SOC function managed by a dedicated manager across various time zones.
• Familiarity with IAM capabilities, including MFA, single sign-on, privileged access, certificate management, and secrets management.
• Background in building and/or leading Security Architecture and Engineering to secure endpoints, identity, email, cloud, data, and networks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT Security, or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in enterprise security, security operations, or related fields.
• 5+ years of experience in senior information security leadership roles.
• Experience with GRC frameworks such as ISO27001, SOC2, SOX, FedRAMP, and GDPR.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong business acumen, and a commercial perspective.
• Minimal travel required (<5%).
• CISSP, CISM, or similar certifications are preferred.
• Strong grasp of cybersecurity services, frameworks, risk management principles, and industry standards like NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, and GDPR.
