Cybersecurity Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Act as a technical expert in cybersecurity.

• Engage in the planning, design, implementation, configuration, and migration of firewall and network security solutions.

• Offer technical support to the Sales team in crafting solutions, proposals, sizing, and addressing customer needs.

• Review Terms of Reference, tender documents, technical specifications, and commercial opportunity papers.

• Provide technical insights on information security solutions, projects, products, technologies, and requirements.

• Assist in the development of cybersecurity technical initiatives.

• Serve as a Level 3 escalation point for complex incidents, problems, and requests.

• Conduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective and preventive measures.

• Aid in defining and reviewing firewall security policies, rules, objects, NAT, VPNs, filters, and configurations.

• Evaluate risks and vulnerabilities and suggest mitigation strategies.

• Take part in the acceptance testing of new security technologies, solutions, and equipment.

• Provide technical training to NOC, SOC, Sales, and other related teams.

• Create technical documentation, procedures, configuration standards, operational guides, and training materials.

• Lead teams during critical implementations and complex requests.

• Contribute to the development of security standards and best practices for NBS Telecom services.

• Stay updated on cybersecurity trends, technologies, threats, and solutions.

• Identify operational and security risks and propose measures to minimize the organization's exposure.

• Assist with audits, compliance assessments, and information security and data protection requirements.

• Ensure adherence to internal information security policies and relevant LGPD regulations.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.

• Postgraduate degree.

• Serve as a technical authority in cybersecurity.

• Experience in implementing, configuring, migrating, and optimizing firewall and network security solutions.

• Proficiency in analyzing Terms of Reference, tender documents, technical specifications, and cybersecurity requirements.

• Knowledge of incident diagnosis, root cause analysis, and action plan formulation.

• Familiarity with firewall policies, rules, objects, NAT, VPNs, and filters.

• Understanding of risk and vulnerability assessments for network architectures and services.

• Capability to deliver technical training and create technical documentation.

• Knowledge of applicable LGPD regulations.

• Willingness to work full-time hours.
