This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the strategy, architecture, implementation, and commercialization of EndeavorB2B’s enterprise data platform.
• Spearhead the implementation and optimization of the centralized cloud data platform.
• Streamline and modernize enterprise data assets across a diverse multi-brand and multi-market setting.
• Design and construct scalable data architecture, data models, and data standards.
• Create and manage ELT/ETL pipelines, data ingestion frameworks, orchestration, and data quality processes.
• Establish DataOps practices, including monitoring, observability, documentation, and engineering standards.
• Assess and implement technologies that enhance data scalability, automation, and operational efficiency.
• Define and execute the enterprise data strategy and roadmap.
• Build a data foundation that supports analytics, audience intelligence, personalization, reporting, and AI initiatives.
• Integrate audience, behavioral, registration, engagement, campaign, CRM, and revenue data into a cohesive ecosystem.
• Set up governance frameworks, data-access controls, retention standards, and documentation processes.
• Collaborate with Legal, Privacy, and Information Security to ensure privacy compliance and responsible data practices.
• Develop audience intelligence capabilities for lead generation, ABM, intent data, segmentation, personalization, and audience activation.
• Convert first-party audience data into commercial products and services.
• Identify and capitalize on revenue opportunities through privacy-safe data collaboration and commercial data products.
• Create reporting, benchmarking, and intelligence products for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Facilitate privacy-safe audience activation, including frameworks for consent and preference management.
• Prepare the data ecosystem for AI, machine learning, predictive analytics, and agent-based applications.
• Collaborate with Product and Technology on AI-driven audience intelligence, content, and sales enablement solutions.
• Recognize opportunities for automation and advanced analytics.
• Lead cross-functional data initiatives with Technology, Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Editorial, Audience Development, and Operations.
• Manage relationships with strategic technology partners and vendors.
• Develop project plans, timelines, resource requirements, and success metrics.
• Convey technical concepts to both executive and non-technical stakeholders.
• Act as an internal advocate for data-driven decision-making and best practices.
• Over 10 years of progressive experience in data engineering, data architecture, analytics, or enterprise data strategy.
• At least five years of experience leading complex enterprise data initiatives from strategy to execution.
• Hands-on experience with implementing and managing enterprise cloud data platforms, such as Snowflake.
• Extensive expertise in data modeling, ELT/ETL design, and pipeline development.
• Proven experience in building and scaling enterprise data warehouses and audience intelligence platforms.
• Strong grasp of data governance, master data management, data-access controls, and retention standards.
• Familiarity with GDPR, CCPA, and CPRA, including consent and preference management practices.
• Ability to collaborate with Legal, Privacy, and Information Security teams on responsible data practices.
• Experience with CRM, marketing automation, audience, advertising, and analytics data.
• Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
• Capability to work independently and drive initiatives to completion.
• Proficiency in communicating complex technical strategies clearly to executive and non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of cloud data platforms and modern data warehousing architectures, particularly Snowflake.
• Proficient in SQL and contemporary data engineering practices.
• Familiarity with data integration and pipeline technologies.
• Understanding of data governance and master data management.
• Experience with business intelligence and reporting platforms.
• Knowledge of audience data, customer data platforms (CDPs), and marketing technologies.
• Insight into privacy-safe data collaboration and audience activation frameworks.
• Preferred: Familiarity with AI-enabled data platforms and cloud ecosystems, as well as modern AI capabilities and LLM integrations.
• Preferred: Exposure to agent-based applications and generative AI use cases in enterprise data environments.
• Preferred: Experience in supporting or developing commercial data products, including data marketplace listings or external data-sharing programs.
