Senior Director – Cybersecurity, Secure Network Services

📋 Description

• Lead the global team that delivers comprehensive Secure Network Services.

• Develop and oversee the strategy, service catalog, SLAs, and KPIs for Secure Network Services.

• Implement service roadmaps to ensure secure connectivity across various sites, cloud edges, and remote access points.

• Collaborate with the Executive – Cyber Services to shape the overarching Cyber Services strategy and portfolio.

• Manage secure connectivity for OT/ICS environments, Export Control Vaults, and site perimeters.

• Establish and uphold zoning and segmentation patterns to minimize lateral movement and safeguard manufacturing and engineering assets.

• Work alongside manufacturing, engineering, and plant leadership on connectivity design initiatives.

• Direct secure connectivity designs for new sites, expansions, and OT modernization efforts.

• Manage ZTNA services for on-site, remote, and third-party users.

• Integrate ZTNA with identity verification, device posture, and application access policies.

• Collaborate with infrastructure, collaboration, and application teams to enhance user experience and network security.

• Create processes for service health monitoring, incident response transitions, and change management.

• Oversee service and risk metrics for secure connectivity and foster continuous improvement leveraging lean/FLIGHT DECK principles.

• Partner with SOC and incident response teams to monitor, log, and respond to network security incidents.

• Propel automation and standardization in firewall policy management, configuration, and deployment.

• Supervise a global team of around 11 network security specialists and engineers.

• Cultivate a high-performing, diverse team and a culture of accountability, collaboration, and ongoing improvement.

• Guide managers and senior engineers in OT networking, Zero Trust, and export-controlled connectivity.

• Collaborate with peers in Cyber Services to deliver cohesive services.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience OR an Associate’s degree with a minimum of 13 years of professional experience OR a High School Diploma with a minimum of 15 years of professional experience (for candidates in the U.S. and India).

• At least 7 years of professional experience in Cyber Operations, Network Security Engineering, or Security Service Delivery within large, complex organizations.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a People Leader, including managing multi-location or global teams of senior professionals/managers.

• Demonstrated experience in owning and operating secure network services at an enterprise level, including firewalls, segmentation, and remote access/Zero Trust solutions.

• Familiarity with OT/ICS networking and/or connectivity for export-controlled or regulated environments.

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. or India is mandatory; employment visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

• For UK candidates: substantial experience in Cyber Operations, Network Security Engineering, or Security Service Delivery within large, complex organizations.

• For UK candidates: over 5 years of experience as a People Leader, including managing teams across multiple locations or globally.

• UK eligibility requires legal authorization to work in the U.S., India, and the U.K.; employment visa sponsorship is not provided in this context.

• UK Security Clearance (SC) is necessary and must be maintained.

• The UK role is limited to British Nationals or dual Nationals where one nationality is British, subject to specific restrictions.

• Preferred: expertise in firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN/SD-WAN, ZTNA, SASE, and network segmentation.

• Preferred: experience with service catalogs, SLAs, SLOs, and KPIs for network or cyber services.

• Preferred: background in aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or regulated mission-critical sectors.

• Preferred: experience in standardizing and modernizing secure connectivity services on a global scale.

• Preferred: business and financial acumen, including budget management and investment considerations.

• Preferred: executive presence, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

• Military experience is considered equivalent to professional experience.

• Successful completion of a drug screening may be necessary; employees may be subject to random and reasonable-suspicion drug and alcohol testing.
