This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identify, qualify, and secure business opportunities in the medical device, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology clinical trial sectors.
• Focus on pre-identified accounts to enhance market share for divisional services.
• Oversee customer satisfaction throughout the RFP process until the final close-out report.
• Serve as the account manager for each project awarded.
• Consistently achieve quarterly sales targets.
• Lead commercialization strategies for assigned service and product offerings.
• Collaborate with Senior Commercial, Marketing, Operational, and Product Leadership Teams to define pricing and product strategies.
• Develop and manage a business plan that aligns with the corporate strategic plan.
• Prospect, promote, and devise strategies to meet quota objectives.
• Establish and maintain a qualified pipeline that is more than three times the monthly quota over a six-month period.
• Present divisional service offerings and value propositions from both a business process and ROI perspective.
• Engage in quarterly sales meetings, training programs, and other requested marketing activities.
• Stay informed about the competitive landscape and divisional positioning.
• Keep up-to-date with the medical device industry.
• Coordinate resources to effectively sell services.
• Maintain specific sales activity and pipeline reporting for prospects.
• Innovate new selling techniques to remain competitive in the market.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Ensure regular attendance and punctuality.
• Bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree or MBA is preferred.
• A minimum of eight (8) years of sales experience is necessary.
• At least five (5) years of desired account management experience.
• Proven extensive knowledge of marketing concepts and trends in the medical and healthcare industries.
• A demonstrated history of success in closed business metrics and consistent sales achievements throughout one’s career.
• Understanding of financial concepts is essential.
• Experience working with senior members of targeted client organizations is preferred.
• Ability to leverage market research and sales data to present opportunities to stakeholders.
• Capability to evaluate the commercial viability and profitability of opportunities.
• Comprehensive understanding of the broader market landscape.
• Familiarity with healthcare regulatory requirements is important.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, along with strong presentation development and delivery abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Ability to garner support from senior management, marketing, finance, and product or service teams.
• Skill in coordinating with account managers and operations teams.
• Strong leadership qualities are necessary.
• Proven ability to successfully work within a team environment.
• Capacity to learn about business services, products, competitors, and conduct market analysis.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software (Salesforce).
• Willingness to travel over 50% of the time.
