This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage a team of actuaries delivering strategic pricing guidance on methodologies and structures.
• Utilize market analysis, financial forecasting, and sophisticated actuarial modeling.
• Collaborate with underwriters, client engagement teams, and senior leadership during RFP processes and in pricing and risk management initiatives.
• Create and sustain forecasting assumptions related to utilization, unit costs, benefit design, and regulatory changes.
• Supervise pricing processes and provide recommendations.
• Partner with Finance and other functional departments on current and future product and transactional costs and pricing strategies.
• Establish scalable processes and robust controls for deliverables, adhering to actuarial standards of practice.
• Lead negotiations and presentations, simplifying complex concepts for diverse audiences.
• Oversee the department’s budget, staffing, performance, and development.
• Exemplify Prime's leadership expectations with direct reports, cross-functional teams, and external stakeholders.
• Execute additional duties as assigned.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, or a comparable combination of education and/or relevant experience.
• A high school diploma from an accredited institution or an equivalent GED is mandatory.
• A minimum of 10 years of actuarial experience, with at least 5 years in the healthcare or PBM sector.
• A minimum of 7 years of leadership experience.
• Possession of an actuarial designation (ASA or FSA).
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring a work visa or residency sponsorship.
• Exceptional quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to manage multiple complex projects concurrently without sacrificing quality.
• Strong client consulting skills and the ability to convey complex information clearly.
• Effective communication with senior leaders throughout the organization.
• Experience in identifying, designing, proposing, and executing efficient, innovative business solutions for clients’ intricate pharmacy benefit issues.
• Deep understanding of pharmacy plan design.
