Senior Digital Product Designer, UI/UX

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, development, documentation, debugging, and support of user interfaces.

• Define and model visual end-user experiences to ensure simple, efficient, and consistent interactions.

• Transform ideas from whiteboard sketches into high-fidelity responsive web, native mobile, voice, and cutting-edge digital solutions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize deliverables and ensure timely delivery of design assets.

• Develop user studies, user flows, wireframes, UI designs, prototypes, annotations, transitions, and animations.

• Work alongside front-end developers and software engineers to facilitate implementation.

• Conduct usability testing and user research while interpreting analytics data.

• Articulate UX strategy, conceptual ideas, and design rationale to teams, leadership, and consumers.

• Create and maintain interactive style guides, design systems, and enterprise standards.

• Act as the primary Designer within the Atria Design System value stream across scrum teams.

• Provide mentorship to UI/UX designers and offer direction in the absence of the department leader.

• Contribute to Banner Health’s digital transformation and the development of consumer health products.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, User Interface/Experience, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field, or equivalent experience and education.

• Over seven years of experience in the interactive design industry.

• Proven experience in product design, including responsive web, native applications, and interactive displays.

• Background in brand marketing, including campaigns and social media.

• A portfolio showcasing UX and UI skills across various devices.

• Strong understanding of graphic design principles, web frameworks, and systems design.

• Proven track record of completing projects within deadlines and budget constraints.

• Experience collaborating with engineering teams.

• Familiarity with Agile product development methodologies.

• Proficient in both low- and high-fidelity prototyping techniques.

• Expertise in modern design tools, such as Sketch, InVision, and Adobe Suite.

• Experience with coding in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Proven ability to test, measure, and refine designs based on customer feedback and market analytics.

• Agency and interactive studio experience is highly preferred.

• Additional relevant education and/or experience is preferred.
