Senior DevSecOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Design and uphold CI/CD pipelines

• Provide support for AWS infrastructure and automated deployment processes

• Incorporate security checks into the build and release workflows

• Oversee system performance and resolve incidents

• Assist with Salesforce deployments and manage releases utilizing Copado

• Keep deployment documentation up to date

• Work collaboratively with development and security teams

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years in DevOps, DevSecOps, or Cloud Engineering

• Practical experience with Salesforce and Copado

• Familiarity with AWS cloud services

• Experience in CI/CD pipeline development using Jenkins and/or GitHub Actions

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code via AWS CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation

• Understanding of DevSecOps principles, including security scanning and vulnerability management

• Proficiency in monitoring tools such as Datadog, Splunk, or Amazon CloudWatch

• Skills in Python or Bash scripting

• Experience with authentication technologies such as Okta, AWS Cognito, or SAML

• Basic understanding of Docker and/or Kubernetes

• Prior experience in federal healthcare is preferred

• Familiarity with NIST, FISMA, and ATO processes is preferred

• Experience in Linux/Unix administration is preferred

• Background in Salesforce release management and version control is preferred

• Preferred certifications include AWS, Security+, or SAFe

• Candidates must be remote and based in EST

• US citizenship is required
