Senior DevOps, Platform Engineer, SRE

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Share responsibility for the availability, reliability, and efficiency of a complex system architecture that includes approximately 70 Hetzner servers.

• Oversee and automate the current infrastructure built on Ubuntu, Percona MySQL Cluster, MinIO, Elasticsearch, Redis, NGINX, HAProxy, TiDB, ClickHouse, and Kubernetes.

• Provide suggestions for enhancing the infrastructure.

• Enhance monitoring techniques and perform thorough incident/root-cause investigations.

• Mitigate recurring issues and ensure the system operates at peak performance.

• Occasionally respond to incidents during nighttime to maintain high system availability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience in one or more programming languages, such as Rust, Java, Go, or TypeScript.

• Solid understanding of system automation and IT security principles.

• Hands-on experience with some of the following systems: MySQL, TiDB, Kubernetes, MinIO, and Elasticsearch.

• Business-fluent in German.

• Proficient in English.

• Strong analytical abilities.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

• Experience in contributing to open-source projects is an advantage.
