Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Assume full responsibility for the installation, configuration, and upgrades of Qodo’s Kubernetes-based stack within customer-managed environments on AWS, GCP, and Azure.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot unfamiliar environments in real time, extracting diagnostics, identifying root causes, and developing custom Python/Bash scripts to navigate network, access, or platform challenges.

• Act as a technical liaison to enterprise engineering teams during onboarding processes.

• Collaborate with Solutions Engineering as required for clients based in the US.

• Document best practices by creating Terraform and Helm Infrastructure as Code modules.

• Establish a structured internal knowledge base and automate repeatable onboarding workflows.

• Maintain optimal performance and health of PostgreSQL, Redis, container networking, and storage within isolated client environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in DevOps / Infrastructure.

• Demonstrated success in product-driven B2B SaaS, DevOps tooling, or developer platform organizations.

• Ability to navigate through ambiguity, make independent technical decisions, and propel projects forward without requiring top-down guidance.

• Practical experience in customer-facing deployments, technical onboarding, or Field DevOps roles.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to foster trust with client engineers under pressure.

• Must reside in the Central Time Zone of the USA.

• Advanced hands-on experience in managing, troubleshooting, and optimizing complex production Kubernetes clusters and Docker containers.

• Proficient with Terraform and Helm in AWS, GCP, and Azure, especially within customer VPC/tenant environments.

• Solid understanding of Linux networking, IAM/security policies, storage drivers, and database infrastructure management.

• Strong skills in Python or Bash for creating diagnostic tools, automation scripts, and deployment solutions.
