DevOps/SRE Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Lead and coordinate technical initiatives aimed at addressing technical debt remediation.

• Ensure alignment with Client Technology standards, best practices, and compliance requirements.

• Actively participate in implementation and problem-solving efforts.

• Collaborate with the team to define and prioritize remediation activities.

• Offer technical guidance and support for decision-making processes.

• Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement.

• Engage closely with stakeholders to clarify project scope and expectations.

• Advocate for engineering best practices and promote continuous improvement within the team.

• Proven experience in technical debt remediation.

• Strong hands-on engineering skills coupled with effective problem-solving abilities.

• Demonstrated technical leadership and decision-making capabilities.

• Proficient in stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Skilled in risk and dependency management.

• Competent in technical planning and prioritization.

• Familiarity with engineering standards, governance, and compliance.

• Proficient in advanced English.

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) is a plus.

• Knowledge of DevOps and automation practices is a plus.

• Understanding of enterprise architecture is a plus.

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.

• Skills in metrics and reporting are a plus.

• Experience in coaching and mentoring is a plus.

• Capabilities in change management are a plus.
