Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design and take ownership of the technical roadmap for the AWS ecosystem, shifting toward a self-service, AIOps-driven platform model.

• Advance EKS and Kubernetes environments utilizing ArgoCD, mTLS security, and intelligent scaling through Cast.ai.

• Oversee and enhance CI/CD pipelines, making the transition from Jenkins to AWS CodeBuild and Step Functions.

• Utilize Cursor and AIOps methodologies for self-healing infrastructure, anomaly detection, and autonomous pipeline optimization.

• Support extensive data environments that feature Kafka, Druid, and Athena.

• Collaborate with Solution Architecture, Product Management, and Engineering leadership to align infrastructure with business expansion and product innovation.

• Implement observability and cost optimization practices using Grafana and CastAI.

• Offer architectural guidance, eliminate technical obstacles, and mentor colleagues.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8–10+ years of experience in DevOps/SRE positions.

• Proven history of managing highly agile, large-scale environments.

• Expertise in AWS, including VPC, networking, and ECR.

• Extensive production experience with Kubernetes, EKS, K8s Ingress, mTLS, and ArgoCD.

• Advanced skills in Terraform and Ansible.

• Strong proficiency in Python and Bash.

• Familiarity with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, AWS Lambda, and Step Functions.

• Experience in building AIOps frameworks using Grafana.

• Experience with AI coding tools such as Cursor.

• Practical experience with RDS/Postgres, Kafka, and Druid or Athena.

• Experience integrating SonarQube and CodeArtifact within the SDLC.

• Knowledge of network security and identity management.

• Understanding of GitOps principles.

• Enthusiasm for applying AI/ML to operations to minimize noise and reduce MTTR.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

• Capability to provide architectural guidance and mentorship.

• Proficiency in communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
