Senior Site Reliability Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Create enduring technical solutions and cross-team strategies to meet reliability objectives

• Establish a roadmap for automated, self-service, scalable, efficient, observable, and dependable infrastructure services

• Align with and facilitate the execution of the Platform Infrastructure team’s roadmap

• Partner with SREs and senior engineers across engineering divisions on best practices

• Offer expert technical advice and insights during engineering design evaluations

• Minimize operational toil through automation

• Develop monitoring and alerting systems for Platform Infrastructure

• Engage in an on-call rotation and address incidents that affect platform availability

• Design, develop, deliver, and maintain a microservices-based cloud software solution

• Lead the standardization and automation of infrastructure and service provisioning and orchestration

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in AWS Cloud Resources, including S3, EC2, and RDS

• Familiarity with Kubernetes clusters in EKS

• Experience with Istio service mesh

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform and AWS CDK

• Proficient with continuous build tools such as GitLab

• Familiarity with continuous delivery tools such as ArgoCD

• Experience with Datadog

• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation

• Capable of designing long-term technical solutions and cross-team strategies for reliability goals

• Skilled in defining automated, self-service, scalable, efficient, observable, and reliable infrastructure services
