Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Work collaboratively with DevOps and development teams.

• Assess the current infrastructure and strategize enhancements.

• Diagnose and resolve production incidents.

• Enhance infrastructure reliability, security, and observability.

• Support and advance Kubernetes-based production environments.

• Introduce and deploy new tools and technologies.

• Engage in discussions regarding infrastructure and architecture.

• Proactively recommend solutions in line with evolving product and business requirements.

• Join a growing team of six DevOps Engineers, including the Team Lead.

• Provide assistance with production issues during the weekly assigned support rotation, typically handling 0–2 incidents per week.

• Participate in the recruitment process, including screening, HR, practical technical assessments, technical lead interviews, senior engineer interviews, and final soft-skills evaluations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Approximately 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure, demonstrating a strong Senior-level skill set.

• Extensive practical experience with AWS — a must-have.

• Significant production experience with Kubernetes — essential.

• Strong background in cloud infrastructure rather than predominantly on-premise experience.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, ideally using Terraform / Terragrunt.

• Proficient hands-on experience with Docker.

• Background in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong knowledge of Linux, networking, and HTTP protocols.

• Proven experience in troubleshooting production environments and managing incidents.

• Experience collaborating closely with developers as part of a DevOps/engineering team.

• Proficiency in English at a B2 level or higher.

• Familiarity with ArgoCD, Helm, Ansible, GitLab CI, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenSearch, Alertmanager, or DigitalOcean is advantageous.
