Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Define the long-term architecture, automation strategy, and reliability objectives for the complete R&D infrastructure landscape.

• Enhance the scalability and cost-effectiveness of production Kubernetes (EKS) clusters through sophisticated scaling techniques.

• Design and expand data streaming and caching layers, with an emphasis on Kafka scaling and Redis clustering.

• Develop advanced observability frameworks using Prometheus and Grafana to set up proactive alerts, SLOs, and anomaly detection.

• Incorporate AI-assisted tools into daily operations for automated incident response and predictive cost management.

• Set production-readiness benchmarks by leading root-cause analyses, capacity planning, and incident management operations.

• Be responsible for the infrastructure roadmap of a large-scale, multi-tenant cyber intelligence SaaS platform.

• Work collaboratively with experienced architects and a highly skilled R&D team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure roles supporting production systems.

• Demonstrated success in managing high-scale, multi-tenant SaaS environments on AWS.

• Extensive production-level experience with Kubernetes (EKS) architecture, container orchestration, and Karpenter.

• Strong hands-on expertise with Terraform, Helm, and CI/CD automation pipelines.

• Solid scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go for custom automation development.

• Practical experience in implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.

• Familiarity with utilizing or integrating AI-assisted tools to enhance observability or developer productivity.

• Domain expertise in the cybersecurity or threat intelligence sectors.

• Basic knowledge of AI/ML data pipelines or predictive AIOps concepts.

• Practical experience applying FinOps frameworks to extensive cloud infrastructure.

• In-depth knowledge of AWS service-level optimization.
