Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Administer and sustain Linux-based systems and environments.

• Operate and provide support for Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure, which includes containerized workloads and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

• Deploy, configure, and maintain web servers alongside related cloud services.

• Apply networking principles and application-layer protocols such as HTTP, SSH, SSL/TLS, and TFTP.

• Design, implement, maintain, build, and optimize automated CI/CD workflows and pipelines utilizing Jenkins and GitLab.

• Provision and oversee infrastructure using Terraform Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Automate configuration and system management processes with Ansible.

• Create Python and Bash scripts along with automation solutions.

• Support the comprehensive software development lifecycle through DevOps processes, tools, and practices.

• Manage source code and version control using Git, GitLab, and GitHub.

• Implement and uphold monitoring and observability solutions with Grafana and Prometheus.

• Collaborate with development and technical teams to enhance reliability, automation, deployment processes, and engineering efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.

• Strong hands-on expertise in Linux administration and troubleshooting.

• Solid experience with Microsoft Azure, including containerized environments and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

• Good understanding of networking concepts and application-layer protocols, including HTTP, SSH, SSL/TLS, TFTP, and related technologies.

• Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab.

• Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly Terraform.

• Hands-on experience with Ansible for configuration management and automation.

• Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting for automation and operational tasks.

• Strong knowledge of Git and experience with GitLab and/or GitHub.

• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana and Prometheus.

• An independent, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work.

• Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating within agile teams.

• Proficiency in written and spoken English; knowledge of German is a plus.
