Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain a robust, secure infrastructure for Fynapse, Aptitude Software's SaaS offering.

• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.

• Ensure optimal availability, performance, and cost-effectiveness of cloud resources.

• Operationally manage infrastructure and workloads.

• Oversee infrastructure and workloads, implementing best practices for alerting and observability.

• Address and resolve incidents, including participating in an on-call rotation.

• Collaborate with the security team to incorporate DevSecOps principles and ensure compliance with standards.

• Work alongside engineering teams on cross-team project development, incident management, and knowledge exchange.

• Assist with daily platform operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE, with a minimum of 2 years focused on Azure.

• Proficient in infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform/OpenTofu.

• Familiarity with DevOps practices, tools such as GitHub Actions, and methodologies including CI/CD, Kargo, Terraform, Kubernetes, and horizontal scaling.

• Solid understanding of Azure services and best practices for cloud architecture.

• Experience managing Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and containerized environments.

• Engineering expertise with microservices and experience in Kubernetes.

• Background in monitoring and logging infrastructure and workloads using Azure Services and the Grafana stack.

• Proven ability to respond to and resolve incidents effectively under pressure during an on-call rotation.

• Familiarity with Argo CD, Crossplane, Kargo, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions is advantageous.

• Azure certifications, such as Azure Fundamentals or Azure Solutions Architect Expert, are highly desirable.

• Experience with AWS cloud platforms is beneficial.

• Legally authorized to work in Poland.

• Willingness to participate in an on-call rota.

• Open to working under a permanent employment contract in Poland, as opposed to a B2B arrangement.
