Senior DevOps

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, provision, version, and manage Azure infrastructure for enterprise data platforms.

• Automate the creation and maintenance of Azure resources utilizing Terraform Infrastructure as Code.

• Oversee Data Lake environments, Databricks workspaces, pipelines, automations, and Terraform stacks.

• Maintain and enhance Azure DevOps YAML CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and notebook/data-job deployments.

• Set up Databricks workspaces and clusters, configuring jobs/tasks via infrastructure or APIs.

• Develop and uphold Bash/Python scripts for automation, deployment, and observability/logging.

• Collaborate with data, analytics, security, and architecture teams concerning compliance, governance, cost, and performance.

• Implement Azure naming and tagging conventions, manage costs, and govern multiple subscriptions.

• Participate in code reviews, uphold IaC best practices, enhance documentation, and provide reliable infrastructure solutions.

• Fortify data infrastructure foundations, uphold internal standards, automation practices, governance, and delivery quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with Azure, covering Resource Groups, Storage, Networking, Key Vault, RBAC, Policies, and Private Endpoints.

• Proficient in Terraform, including modules, remote state management, workspaces, and deployment automation.

• Practical experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines, including YAML, tasks, variables, and gates.

• Familiarity with Git, GitOps, and CI/CD methodologies for infrastructure code.

• Capability to operate across multiple subscriptions while adhering to naming, tagging, and cost management standards.

• Advanced English proficiency for engaging with international clients.

• Preferred: certifications such as Azure DevOps Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect, or Terraform Associate.

• Preferred: experience with Docker and Kubernetes/AKS.

• Preferred: experience with secret rotation, Service Principals, Managed Identities, and Key Vaults in data environments.

• Preferred: familiarity with DataOps practices, infrastructure-data integration, and automation of notebooks/data jobs.

• Preferred: exposure to Log Analytics, Application Insights, and Azure Monitor.

• Preferred: experience with GitLab CI/CD, including multi-environment promotion.

• Preferred: networking knowledge including NLB, DNS, security groups, and WAF.

• Preferred: monitoring and observability experience with CloudWatch and Dynatrace.
