Senior Developer Relations Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Sustain a robust and frequent speaking presence at meetups, conferences, and community events in San Francisco as well as within the global developer community.

• Organize, facilitate, and lead LocalStack gatherings, which include meetups, workshops, hackathons, and developer dinners.

• Establish ecosystem partnerships with community leaders and developer-tool companies through collaborative content, events, and webinars.

• Create and publish technical content such as blog posts, tutorials, videos, and sample projects.

• Assist in the development of documentation.

• Develop partner demos and reference integrations.

• Contribute to the overall Developer Relations team.

• Provide market insights to product, engineering, and GTM teams, aiding in the development of new products or product features.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Developer Advocacy, Developer Relations, Technical Evangelism, or a similar outward-facing technical role.

• Strong practical experience in cloud and cloud-native development (AWS, Azure, Snowflake, GCP, etc.).

• Proven experience in forming significant external partnerships through joint events, co-published content, and webinars.

• Experience in bridging product, engineering, and GTM teams, providing market insights, and transforming these insights into new products or product features.

• Knowledge of agentic SDLC workflows and the function of local sandboxes for AI agents.

• Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area or willing to relocate.
