Senior Developer, Clipper/PL/SQL

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain applications utilizing Clipper and PL/SQL, ensuring high code efficiency and quality.

• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to grasp business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.

• Evaluate existing systems and recommend enhancements and optimizations for improved performance and user experience.

• Engage in all stages of the software development lifecycle, from initial conception to implementation and ongoing support.

• Create technical documentation for developed processes and systems.

• Guide less experienced developers, promoting knowledge sharing and adherence to best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience in Clipper and PL/SQL development.

• Familiarity with C# and Delphi is an advantageous addition.

• Capability to collaborate within a team and communicate effectively across various organizational areas.

• Aptitude for problem-solving independently and proactively.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Experience with systems development projects in the financial services or credit union domains.

• Understanding of agile software development methodologies.

• Proficiency in requirements analysis and systems design.
