Senior Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Lead the technical discovery process and convert product requirements into viable solution designs and implementation strategies.

• Take ownership of the technical delivery for intricate enhancements and major workstreams, overseeing everything from estimation and solution design to release.

• Create and evaluate complex AL, React Native, TypeScript, integration, and API modifications.

• Make and document technical design choices related to Business Central, integrations, APIs, React Native, TypeScript, iOS, and Android.

• Decompose large technical initiatives into manageable deliverables, pinpoint dependencies, and effectively communicate risks.

• Mentor developers by providing design guidance, engaging in pairing sessions, conducting code reviews, and offering constructive feedback.

• Lead debugging, testing, performance analysis, secure coding practices, and maintainable implementation strategies.

• Ensure the completion of automated tests, technical documentation, deployment notes, and rollback plans.

• Serve as an escalation point for complex defects, production incidents, integration challenges, and platform-specific issues.

• Drive root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions for high-impact defects and production incidents.

• Review architecture and code for consistency, reusability, scalability, platform compatibility, and long-term supportability.

• Identify technical debt and propose actionable remediation strategies.

• Collaborate with the Manager of Product Engineering and Product Owner regarding estimates, dependencies, technical risks, and delivery options.

• Enhance development standards, reusable components, CI/CD practices, release processes, and team documentation.

• Manage mobile architecture and release readiness, which includes build, signing, testing, store submission, rollout, and updates for both the Apple App Store and Google Play.

• Provide functional and technical guidance for Business Central sales, purchasing, project, service, and related RUX workflows.

• Support technical planning, estimation, hiring input, onboarding, and the development of engineering skills.

• Communicate technical trade-offs and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in independently delivering complex production software and leading substantial features or technical workstreams through design, development, testing, release, and support phases.

• Advanced proficiency in at least one primary RUX technology area, such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and AL or React Native and TypeScript.

• Capability to work effectively across integrations, APIs, source control, automated testing, and deployment processes.

• Strong skills in technical judgment, debugging, solution design, code reviews, mentoring, communication, and cross-functional collaboration.

• Experience with SaaS or ERP products, AppSource, releases on the Apple App Store or Google Play, CI/CD, security, performance, and RUX customer industries is preferred based on the assigned product area.
