This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +2 more countries.
• Design, validate, and sustain programming solutions for CDMS/EDC systems, including Rave and Veeva, as well as data validation and analytical outputs, data review/risk management outputs, custom reports, and clinical trial programs.
• Create and manage programs for processing external vendor data.
• Execute CDMS data extracts and develop data transfer programs.
• Collaborate with data managers, project managers, biostatisticians, and other teams to incorporate programming solutions into the data management workflow.
• Act as the main programming liaison during study setup and ongoing maintenance.
• Engage in internal and external meetings, offering insights to peers, team leads, and functional management.
• Mentor, guide, and provide training and support to other programming staff.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing through presentations and training materials.
• Enhance technical systems and processes in a subject matter expert capacity.
• Stay updated on advancements in programming languages and data management tools.
• Conduct final-level technical reviews and consultations for intricate programming tasks.
• Offer technical leadership for cross-study and program-level analytics projects.
• Spearhead innovative analytical methods, automation strategies, and process enhancements.
• Over 10 years of experience in EDC programming (Medidata Rave and/or Veeva) focused on data validation outputs, data review/risk management outputs, custom reports, and clinical trial programs.
• Proficient in one or more programming languages, such as R, Python, SAS, and/or SQL.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and communication skills, with the capacity to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional setting.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, committed to delivering high-quality outcomes.
• Previous experience in leading, training, and mentoring junior programmers.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
