This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Analyze and comprehend business requirements alongside product managers and analysts, converting these needs into technical specifications.
• Craft software architectures and establish technical solutions for credit features, taking into account scalability, security, and performance.
• Produce production code in line with quality standards, best practices, and team conventions.
• Create and uphold unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Perform code reviews.
• Engage in Agile ceremonies, which include daily stand-ups, planning sessions, and retrospectives.
• Work collaboratively with designers and product managers to define solutions.
• Investigate and troubleshoot production issues by analyzing logs, metrics, and system behavior.
• Oversee the performance, availability, and health of credit systems.
• Document technical decisions, architectures, and processes.
• Refactor legacy code.
• Contribute to the advancement of credit products by suggesting data-driven technical and business enhancements.
• Ensure security and compliance in solutions by adhering to information security practices and financial industry regulations.
• Help define and evolve technical standards, tools, and processes.
• Investigate and resolve bugs, prioritizing their impact on the business.
• Proficiency in Node.js (runtime, event loop, native modules, performance).
• Expertise in TypeScript (advanced types, generics, decorators, utility types).
• Knowledge of JavaScript ES6+ (async/await, promises, destructuring, spread operator).
• Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL), including complex queries, optimization, indexes, and transactions.
• Familiarity with NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis), including data modeling, aggregations, and caching strategies.
• Understanding of ORMs and query builders (TypeORM, Prisma, Sequelize, Knex).
• Experience with migrations and schema versioning.
• Proficient in Docker (Dockerfile, docker-compose).
• Knowledge of container, volume, and network concepts.
• Best practices in containerization for Node.js applications.
• Experience with Git (branching strategies, merge/rebase, hooks).
• Familiarity with CI/CD (Bitbucket CI, GitLab CI), pipelines, automated testing, and deployment.
• Adherence to Clean Code and SOLID principles.
• Knowledge of design patterns (Factory, Strategy, Repository, Dependency Injection).
• Understanding of software architecture (RESTful APIs, microservices, event-driven architecture).
• Proficiency in unit, integration, and end-to-end testing (Jest, Mocha, Chai, Supertest).
• Experience with code review and pair programming.
• Familiarity with package managers (npm, yarn, pnpm).
• Skills in debugging (Node.js debugger, Chrome DevTools).
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Winston, Pino, Sentry).
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Ability to create technical documentation (API documentation, architecture, ADRs).
